Google has launched a new app called Motion Stills for iOS users which allows people to turn their Live Photos into gif images
The app also lets you to improve Live Photos and make less-shaky, gif images. Gif images are gaining quite a lot of popularity on social media platforms like Facebook and various messaging apps too.
Live Photos taken from iPhone usually are shaky, and Google claims that the Motion Stills app’s in-built advanced stabilisation and rendering technology will smoothen the video, making it a perfect gif.
Live Photos was a feature added to the latest iPhone 6s and 6s Plus which allowed users to capture a 2-3 second memory along with the still, something similar to what we’ve seen on HTC’s Zoe, making those still memories much more intuitive.
There isn’t any news for this app to come for Android users, but the Research blog does claims that it plans to include the feature into the Google Photos app based on the feedback. The Motion Stills app is available for free on the Apple App Store.
