OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T Now Receiving OxygenOS 4.0.1 Update With Bug Fixes
Oneplus has rolled out the oxygen os 4.0.1 update to the OnePlus 3 and Oneplus 3T. Oneplus 3 and Oneplus 3T users are now again receiving an incremental oxygen os 4.0.1 update to their devices. After the big Android 7.0 Nougat-based OxygenOS 4.0 update last week, Oneplus 3 and Oneplus 3T users now again an incremental oxygen os 4.0.1 update to their strategy. The update is focused on bringing a lot of critical bug fixes and improvements.
The update brings added status bar icon option, improved self customization, updated APN Settings for select carriers, fixed proximity sensor bug during calls, and improved system stability.
The oxygen os 4.0.1 update has some Known issues – such as a Google Play download problem, and provides some manual workaround measures to fix it.
The oneplus change log states that not being able to download from Google Play is known Google issue, and recommends not downloading through mobile data.

additionally, the change log notes another workaround that involves force stopping or uninstalling Truecaller, AVG Antivirus, and Paytm from your Smartphone before performing a download from Google play.
The oxygen os 4.0.1 update also fixes mobile data and Wi-FI connectivity issues that some users were experiencing. However, the change log notes that users who continue to experience issues can go to APN settings page and manually try all options available.
The Android 7.0 Nougat based oxygen os 4.0.1 update is being pushed out the air and will reach all users over the coming days.
The company is again calling it in “incremental rollout”, implying that it will roll out in batches, and only a few users will receive it on he first day, while other should receive it over the course of the next few days.
Oneplus also offers a workaround for users encountering mobile date problems because of APN. To resolve this problem one can navigate to the settings page for APN and manually test out the existing options.
