Now, it is possible to block posts with profanity in the comments section in your Instagram feed.
Last month, Instagram announced an update, now you can stop comments that contain profanity, insult or other offensive language from show on your Instagram posts. If someone adds a comment containing a keyword, if you have decided to block, the post will be automatically hidden from your feed, although it is still below the comment count could include in the picture.
♦ Go to your Instagram profile and tap (iOS) or (Android) in the top-right corner.
♦ you will show a number of SETTINGS Options in the below Screenshots. In that List Tap on the Comments.
♦ Tap next to Hide Inappropriate Comments to filter comments using a default list of keywords, or enter custom keywords below Custom Keywords. Custom keywords can include any words, phrases, numbers or emojis you’d like to filter out, separated by commas.
♦ Tap Done.
Keep in mind that default and custom keyword filtering aren’t currently available in all languages:
Default Keywords: The default list of keywords is currently only in English, and contains the most common inappropriate and offensive words on Instagram, including profanity.
Custom Keywords: Currently, custom keyword filtering doesn’t support languages without spaces (ex: Chinese, Japanese, Thai).
When you turn on comment filtering, it’s applied to both new and existing comments on your posts. When you turn off comment filtering, filtered comments on your posts will be restored.
Keep in mind that comments that were hidden, either automatically or by a keyword filter you turn on, may still be included in the comment count that appears below your post.
