Android 7.0 Nougat: a more powerful OS, made for you

Yesterday, Google started rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat to Nexus devices.this year they took a different approach to manufacturing and launching Nougat.

For beginner they invited developers to take a sneak peer at Android N back in March, so they could bring their apps to the new platform earlier.

  • Quick Settings control:A quick setting means you can easily access to things like WiFi, Bluetooth and the all-important flashlight.
  • Multi-locale support:Based on your locale settings apps can modify their content.so if you speak multiple languages, for instance, then search engines can show results in each of those languages.

How to install Android 7.0 Nougat:

Installing over-the-air (OTA)

you’ll need to sign up for the Android Beta Program to install Android Nougat.

Through your Google Account Sign in and then select your responsive device.Follow each instructions to download the Nougat beta over the air (OTA).When it’s installed you may see a notification to update to the official public secure release of Nougat.

If it’s not display then , you can go to Settings > About phone > System updates to download and install the update.

If you are not interested in joining the beta?then you will have to wait for the update to arrive OTA. so if you don’t see it instantly ,It may take a little days.

Installing factory images

Otherwise you can install Nougat by “flashing” your Nexus device with the newest “factory images” available here.

Warning: This method is a little more advanced and there’s a greater possibility of accidentally bricking your Nexus device if you don’t follow the directions correctly. Full directions can be found here.

Today, and over the next several weeks, the Nexus 6, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus 9, Nexus Player, Pixel C and General Mobile 4G (Android One) will get an over the air software update to Android 7.0 Nougat.
