Sony Xperia X, Xperia Z5 Premium prices cut in India

Sony has announced huge price cuts for its Xperia X and Xperia Z5 smartphone respectively in India. The Xperia X gets a price cut of Rs.10,000, even as the Xperia Z5 gets a price cut of Rs 8,000.,but that still doesn’t make it the outright choice.

In India that effective from September 1.Eariler the price of Xperia X was Rs 48,990 and now be available at 38,990.while Xperia Z5 Premium will cost Rs 47,990 which was earlier available for Rs 55,990.

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor
  • 3 GB of RAM
  • It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

Previously this year, Sony introduced its new X series of Smartphones at MWC 2016.Respectively the company has today brought the series to India with the Xperia X and the Xperia XA in India, Priced at RS 48,990 and Rs 20,990.

In Berlin Sony also launched the Xperia  Z5 at IFA. It’s not like the global variant, the one launched in India comes with dual-SIM card slots. The Xperia Z5 Dual smartphone comes with the same features as the single-SIM variant ,and is priced at Rs 52,900.

  • 32GB of internal storage and microSD card slot for further expansion.
  • 23-megapixel rear camera with hybrid auto-focus (0.03 seconds) and an LED flash. The new camera module also supports 4K video recording capabilities. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel wide-angle camera for selfies and video calling.
  • 2,930mAh non-removable Battery with Quick Charge 2.0 feature for fast charging, it’s good enough running up to two days.
  • It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the package and is due to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow update in the coming months.
