NEW DELHI: If you are still waiting to get your hands on the world’s cheapest Android smartphone — Freedom 251 — then you might get lucky this time. Freedom 251 smartphone maker Ringing Bells today announced it will soon delivering 65,000 more units. Last month the company had started with the delivery of 5,000 units.
The company is accepting cash on delivery. The receiver will have to pay Rs 291 (including Rs 40 as delivery charge) to get the unit. Ringing Bells claims to have received over 7.5 crore registrations for the Freedom 251 smartphone. It selected the first batch of recipients on the basis of a draw.
