Nintendo’s major Franchise coming to iOS. The new game is called Super Mario Run is coming to iPhone this December
At Apple’s San Francisco event, Mario creator Miyamoto just showed off an official Nintendo game Super Mario Run coming to iPhone and iPad this December.
When Apple CEO Tim Cook introduced Miyamoto at the event that time he said that “They will be doing it first on iOS and also will be doing it in a brand new game, Super Mario Run.”
Nintendo is finally going mobile in a big way, dragging out all the stops.
Miyamoto declares: “Now, Mario is running toward his next goal: iPhone.” The audience cheers.
Miyamoto says” How could Mario possibly work on a touchscreen?”The longer you hold your finger down, the higher he jumps”, also players are able to change Mario’s direction and control his movements with the timing of their taps as well.
Miyamoto said “The Super Mario run game isn’t just a single player experience. “Battle Mode will have you not only competing against your friends, but for the first time players from all over the world.”
Super Mario Run: Launch
Super Mario Run will launch in December 2016 at a price that’s still to be announced. The game will be available in over 100 countries at launch, and in nine languages.
Super Mario Run follows the running away success of Pokémon GO, will join a firm of other upcoming Nintendo mobile games, including games in the Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing series which are set to launch before March,2017.
Super Mario Run: Three Modes
In the game, when player pass through traditional 2D Mario levels in an attempt to collect as many coins as possible in a set amount of time, earlier than reaching the flagpole at the end of the level. Super Mario Run has multiple worlds and levels. Six worlds could be seen on the demo screen.
Beside this single-player mode, there’s “Toad Rally” which allows players to complete against one another collecting coins.
Next in third mode lets users “expand and customize your Mushroom Kingdom” with coins you collect in the game.
Super Mario Run: Cost

iOS users will be able to download and enjoy a portion of Super Mario Run for free and will be able to access all of the game content available in this release after paying a set purchase price.”
Nintendo tells Kotaku: “We do intend to release the game on Android devices at some point in the future.”
