Club Nintendo: Register DS & 3DS Products

Club Nintendo: Register DS & 3DS Products

Here I Will Explain about Club Nintendo. Here I will explain about How to Register Your DS and 3DS Products with Club Nintendo. Most people don’t bother registering their electronics: it’s usually a tedious, gray process that offers little in the way of reward. But Nintendo livened up their game and product registration with “Club Nintendo,” a loyalty program that rewards Nintendo consumers.

In North America, Club Nintendo rewards its members with “Coins” for registering first-party games and hardware (products that are developed or manufactured by Nintendo 3DS), as well as certain third-party titles.

Coins can also be awarded for answering surveys and referring Club Nintendo to other people.

Here Read about How To Register Your DS and 3DS Products with Club Nintendo.

What Can I Register At Club Nintendo?

Most first-party games for Nintendo systems, a select few third-party games, and the current generation of Nintendo consoles and handhelds (the Wii, the Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo DS, DS Lite and DSi) can be registered with Club Nintendo.

Your Club Nintendo account can also be linked to the Wii Shop Channel, the Nintendo DSi Shop, and the Nintendo 3DS eShop. The DSi and eShop will automatically register any online games you purchase for post-play surveys.

Note that most out-of-print games (games that are no longer being manufactured or published) can still be registered with Club Nintendo, but the registration process usually won’t yield coins.

What Do I Get For Registering Products With Club Nintendo?

By registering qualifying products, you can accumulate coins. The amount of coins you earn varies depending on what you register; registering a Nintendo DSi (and linking it to your Club Nintendo account) will earn you 160 coins, and a DS game will bring in 30 coins.

In most cases, you’re required to complete a product survey to receive your coins. You can receive extra coins for marking an upcoming game as one you intend to buy, and then buying and registering it once it’s released.

Coins can be redeemed for unique prizes, including screensavers, mobile ringtones, computer wallpapers, Nintendo accessories and even rare or exclusive games like the Game and Watch collection for the Nintendo DS.

The number of coins you hold also affects your status as a Club Nintendo member. Nintendo fans with 300 coins and above become Gold members, and then Platinum members at 600 coins (redeeming coins doesn’t affect your status) Membership status resets after each year on June 30, though you don’t lose any coins you’ve accumulated. Gold and Platinum members receive a special prize at the end of the “year”.

How Do I Register My 3DS Products With Club Nintendo?

The first step to registration is a visit to Club Nintendo. If you don’t have an account, you’ll need to sign up for one by clicking the “Join Club Nintendo Now!” button on the bottom of the left-hand menu bar.

When you’ve joined and are able to sign in, you can begin registering products and earning coins.

Games eligible for registration include an insert with a PIN number. After typing in the PIN and clicking “Register Now!” on the Club Nintendo homepage, you’re whisked to a survey that inquires about where you heard about your new game, where you bought it, and asks you for additional comments. You earn your coins upon completion.
